Certivo + Open Badges

Certivo issues digital credentials natively to the Open Badges standard. Every certificate you award can carry a verifiable, tamper-evident badge your graduates share on LinkedIn, in an email signature, or with a prime contractor, and anyone can verify it without calling your office.

What syncs

  • Certification issued → hosted Open Badge assertion
  • Badge embeds course, issuer, and issue/expiry dates
  • Public verification link on every badge
  • Revocation honored so a pulled cert reads as invalid
  • Recipient identity is a salted hash, never a plaintext email

Setup (under 5 minutes)

  1. 1Nothing to set up: badge issuing is ON by default for every certificate
  2. 2Your issuer profile comes from your company name, website and logo in Settings → General
  3. 3To turn it off: Settings → General → "Issue digital badges (Open Badges)"
  4. 4Badges attach to certificates automatically, at no per-badge cost
